CLOSING CEREMONY
As the one-month stay in Kendari, Indonesia, has finally come to an end, Halu Oleo University held a closing ceremony. The closing ceremony is all about going back and evaluating our teaching and learning experience in Kendari, Indonesia, and in our practicum school.
In the closing ceremony, the inbound students from the Philippines performed a traditional dance entitled “Unity Dance” to showcase our culture. Afterwards, we were asked to have a representative from each university talk about the impressions and suggestions for the SEATeacher Exchange Student Program in order to learn more about our experiences during the program.
Before ending the closing ceremony, the faculty of Halu Oleo University awarded us our certificate for fulfilling the SEATeacher Exchange Student Program. Also, we are grateful to Halu Oleo University for providing us with their university uniform. This made us feel like we were part of their university for the entire month of our stay.
